About the festival
Nata is located 19 kilometers east of Paphos, 66 kilometers northwest of Limassol, and approximately 128 kilometers southwest of Nicosia. Built on the western bank of the Xeros River (Asprokremmos) at an altitude of 230 meters, it stands out for its natural landscape and tranquility.
One of the most distinctive fruits of the Cypriot summer gets its own celebration again this year. Nata's Prickly Pear Festival returns for its 31st year, bringing residents and visitors to the village square.
The prickly pear will, of course, be the highlight of the evening, with organizers offering the sweet summer fruit to the public for free. It's a wonderful opportunity for an excursion to the Paphos district and a chance to experience Nata's hospitality and traditions.
