About the festival
The 'Let's Go Troodos 3' event returns with local products, traditional flavors, music, and activities for the entire family.
For the third consecutive year, the Presidential Residence in Troodos opens its doors to the public, inviting everyone to the 'Let's Go Troodos 3' event. This grand celebration of mountainous Cyprus will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 11:00 to 18:00.
Visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore a site of significant historical and symbolic importance, while enjoying a day dedicated to the people, products, flavors, and traditions of the mountain communities.
Producers, artisans, and creators will showcase their work, offering the public a chance to discover products made with local raw materials, traditional techniques, and great care. Their presence highlights the authentic character of the Cypriot countryside and the creativity of those who choose to live and work in the mountainous regions.
The program will include music, tsiattista (Cypriot poetic dueling songs), and an introduction to traditional musical instruments. Various activities will be held for children, ensuring the entire family can enjoy a unique Sunday amidst the natural environment of Troodos.
The event is held on the initiative of the First Lady, Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, and is co-organized by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Commissioner's Office for the Development of Mountain Communities, and the Press and Information Office.
The main goal of the event is to provide the public with access to an emblematic building of the Republic of Cyprus and, at the same time, to support small businesses, producers, and creators from the mountainous regions. Through the promotion of local products, the aim is also to enhance visitor numbers and the sustainable development of the Troodos communities.
'Let's Go Troodos 3' maintains its social character this year, supporting the work of the Agros Elderly Care Home 'I Eleousa'.
For the convenience of visitors, two parking areas will be available: at Troodos Square, next to the Meteorological Station, and at the Troodos Environmental Information Centre. Free bus transfers to and from the Presidential Residence will be provided from both locations throughout the event.
Visitors are requested to bring their identity card or another official identification document to facilitate the entry process.
