INGREDIENTS
- 185-200g peanut oil, plus a little more for greasing the pan
- 200g sugar
- A little orange zest, avoiding the white pith
- 130g carob syrup
- 100g lukewarm water
- 200g orange juice
- 420g 'Farina' flour (fine cake flour)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 120g walnuts, shelled
